Moe Kawakami '23


Moe is a first-year Pre-Human Biology & Society major from Mountain View, CA. She hopes to foster a community where anyone with an interest in ballet can express their creative interests! She instantly fell in love with dance since starting ballet as a hobby in a small studio in Hong Kong at the age of 6. Throughout her life, she has attended many different ballet studios and performed in their various showcases. She completed the Advanced Foundation vocational examination in Singapore. Her favorite duet that she performed was the Ocean and Pearls variation. In her high school in Japan, she choreographed many solo and group pieces for her high school dance company. She also has experience teaching children’s ballet classes as an assistant teacher at her studio.
